The SPS Facilities Team has been awarded the Estates Services Award from the University of Lincoln. This follows hot on the heels of the team winning a Best Practice Award.
The latest award celebrates the outstanding contribution from the University’s contracted colleagues working at the Lincoln site.
Speaking on the award, Harvey Dowdy, Director of Estates, commented: “The whole team has supported the University throughout this unprecedented year, providing us with exceptional services and have adapted to the new requirements throughout the pandemic.
“Every member of the team has contributed to ensuring the University campus continued to be a safe and supportive environment for both staff and students. For this we want to say a huge thank you and congratulations.”
SPS Security and ICS Cleaning, part of the SPS Group, has worked for the large educational establishment since 2001 and in 2019 secured a further 5-year contract worth £2.5 million a year, employing 160 people and an experienced management team.
James Smedley, SPS Group Finance Director, commented: “We are delighted to receive these awards and the recognition of our work across the University of Lincoln Campus. In what has been a challenging 12-months for all, we have continued to provide an outstanding service and to be recognized in this way for our contributions is a great boost for our teams.
“We have a strong relationship with the university and we constantly strive to deliver the very best service and work closely with the university’s management to make sure our teams deliver exactly what their requirements are.
“Our reputation in the education industry is strong, we offer real value for money and excellent services and are delighted to be recognised in this way from such a fabulous institution.”
